Now, I really like this tune here.."Do It For God", yea thats right, He Comes first, In EverytHing, & You already know I paid attention to the tight beat..lol..Keep up the good work son, MY SON GON BE BIGGGGG!!!!.....MOMZ!

This is Great, Mike. We certainly should “do it for God.” After all, “the earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it,” (Psalm 24:1).  We are in the world; hence, we belong to God.  In fact, we have actually been bought at a price” (1 Corinthians 6:20); so, we should “make it our goal to please” God (2 Corinthians 5:9).  We should wake up each morning and say to God, “Speak, for your servant is listening” (1 Samuel 3:10). 

Since we have been “bought with a price” we should not be “slaves of human beings” (1 Corinthians 7:23); but rather, we should be slaves of righteousness (Romans 6:18-20) since no man can serve two masters (Matthew 6:24; Luke 16:13).  

Its good to please people, but our highest goal should be to please God (2 Corinthians 5:9).  If we were “trying to win the approval of human beings,” then we “would not be a servant of Christ” (Galatians 1:10), but because we are “entrusted with the gospel” (1 Thessalonians 2:40) it is clear that we have been given the “ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18). 

If pleasing people takes priority over pleasing God then we need to understand that we are not to “conform to the pattern of this world” but rather we are to be “transformed by the renewing of our minds” and “offer our bodies as a living sacrifice” (Romans 12:1) to God. 

Yes, Mike, “do it for God.”  “Choose…this day whom you will serve…as for me and my household we will serve the LORD” (Joshua 24:15).  We will “do it for God.”
