A little over a year ago, Pasadena, Ca's favorite rapper, Bing Bing wasn't too fond of Soundcloud. That was until he realized he was using an outdated web browser. When he found out how to effectively use Soundcloud, it wasn't long before he got 100,000+ plays. Even though he was excited about reaching that point, it wasn't enough to make him send the message via thawilsonblock. Months later, after days of hard work, Bing Bing achieved 200,000+ plays in a 9 month period. That is when he felt he had to put the word out. "Because I'm the only one who has record of this amount of plays in my region," says Bing Bing.

Recently, Bing Bing just passed 300,000+ plays in a one year period. His 2nd single for Music & Me mixtape "I Try Hard" is leading the way at 56,000+ plays making it the single with significantly more hits than any other song on his playlist...and on Pasadena's music scene. This is yet another milestone Bing Bing has accomplished. And for someone who genuinely promotes local artists, he deserves the fruits of his labor.

"People try to discredit the way I use Soundcloud to get plays," explains Bing Bing. "But the bottom line is, you do what you gotta do to get your music out there. And as a result of performing the tasks to get these plays I've gotten not only 300,000+ plays, 1800+ downloads, 3800+ profile views, and 150 favoritings, but 2,000+ new facebook LIKES and 8,000+ new twitter followers so I figure I must be doing something right." Bing Bing told us further that his goal is to get 1 million plays before this time next year.
